Consumer prices increased by 1.6 percent last month in FBiH

SARAJEVO, November 19 (FENA) - Consumer prices in the Federation of BiH in October 2021 increased by an average of 1.6 percent compared to the previous month.  

Price growth in October, on an annual basis, was observed in the sections transport by 3.3 percent, restaurants and hotels by 2.5 percent, housing and water, electricity, gas and other energy sources by 2.2 percent, clothing and footwear by 2.0 percent, food and non-alcoholic beverages by 1.7 percent, furniture, household appliances and regular house maintenance by 1.1 percent, education by 0.3 percent and alcoholic beverages and tobacco by 0.2 percent.

According to the FBiH Bureau of Statistics, prices fell in the communications department by 0.1 percent, while in other sections they did not change on average.

In October 2021, compared to the same month in 2020, prices increased by 4.3 percent (annual inflation).
