FBiH Government allocates 60 million KM to crafts

SARAJEVO, October 27 (FENA) - The Government of the Federation of BiH, at today's session in Sarajevo chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister and FBiH Minister of Finance Jelka Milićević, with the authorization of the FBiH Prime Minister, passed the Decree on measures of financial assistance to crafts and self-employment activities in the Federation of BiH, which provided the amount of 60,000,000 KM for these purposes.

The aim of providing this financial assistance to beneficiaries is to preserve jobs and provide liquidity support in order to mitigate the negative consequences of the pandemic. Financial resources for the implementation of this regulation are provided in the FBiH Budget for 2021 in the section of the FBiH Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts. 

Beneficiaries of financial assistance will use the funds as a refund of the already paid part of the gross salary for employees, i.e. the part of the contributions that are calculated on the prescribed basis for the calculation of contributions for owners for the period from August 1, 2020, until July 31, 2021. The results, i.e. the effects of financial assistance to crafts and other independent activities will be presented as part of the final report on the granted financial assistance with an analysis of its effects.  

The total amount of assistance per one beneficiary for crafts and other independent activities is a maximum of 30,000 KM, said the Press Service of the Government of FBiH.
