SARAJEVO, October 18 (FENA) - Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turković met today with the President of the National Council of the Republic of Austria Wolfgang Sobotka.
The officials discussed the relations between BiH and the Republic of Austria, the current political situation, the European path, the implementation of reforms in our country.
They pointed out that relations between BiH and the Republic of Austria are at an extremely high level and that there are no open issues between the two countries.
Minister Turković emphasized Austria's significant contribution when it comes to supporting BiH's European integration, but also its role in terms of internal stability and security in BiH, given that Austria provides the most troops within the EUFOR-ALTHEA Mission.
The President of the National Council Sobotka reminded of the strong ties between the two countries, emphasizing that the citizens of Austria, originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, are among the most numerous and best integrated into Austrian society.
He stressed that Austria continues to provide strong support to the process of European integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as further implementation of reform processes, said the Foreign Ministry of BiH.
