Tegeltija urges Podžić to put his decision on military exercise out of force

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, October 5 (FENA) - The BiH Council of Ministers Chairman Zoran Tegeltija sent a letter today to the Defense Minister Sifet Podžić with a request to repeal the Decision on the implementation of measures and activities on the organization of the military exercise "Manjača 21", which postpones the military exercise planned by the Armed Forces of BiH and the Serbian Army on Manjača from October 9 to 16 this year.

In the letter, Tegeltija points out, among other things, that the reasons for postponing the implementation of the military exercise "Manjača 21" have no basis, and stated that if Minister Podžić does not act in the same way, he will be forced to act in accordance with the powers of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers. BiH Council of Ministers.

Tegeltija added that, having in mind all the above, he believes "that unilateral adoption of such a decision by the Minister of Defense is a violation of the Law on Defense of BiH, and that it represents a bad diplomatic move towards the Republic of Serbia."

"I urge you to immediately put the decision in question out of force and continue the planned activities on the implementation of the bilateral military exercise "Manjača 21", and to inform me about it," wrote Tegeltija.
