Komšić: The next trilateral meeting with Serbia and Turkey will be in BiH

FENA Muhamed Hadžibegić

SARAJEVO, August 27 (FENA) - BiH Presidency Chairman Željko Komšić said tonight after a meeting of Presidency members with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that it had been agreed that the next trilateral meeting with Serbian representatives would be held in BiH.

He added that these meetings are important because they are related to projects such as the Sarajevo-Belgrade motorway.

“We also talked about ways for the trade exchange between the two countries to reach the value of one billion dollars,” said Komšić.

He pointed out that President Erdogan informed them about certain problems faced by investors from Turkey and the need to be equated with local companies.

“That refers to the supply of Natron coal in Maglaj and the former soda factory in Lukavac,” Komšić explained.

He stated that they also discussed the need for the two countries to sign a letter of intent for cooperation in the field of energy, which is of vital importance for BiH, given the challenges that await us.
