SARAJEVO, June 28 (FENA) - The House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted the proposed decision on accepting the loan under the Financing Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) for the Rural Enterprise and Agriculture Development Project, at today's session.
According to the explanation of the FBiH Minister of Finance, Jelka Milićević, the indebtedness for these purposes amounts to 11.7 million euros, of which 60 percent of the loan should be transferred to the Federation of BiH and 40 percent to the Republika Srpska.
The FBiH loan repayment period is 18 years, with a three-year grace period, Milićević also said.
Delegates of the House of Peoples today supported the Draft Law on Insurance Representation and Insurance and Reinsurance Mediation by a majority of votes.
The essential difference in relation to the Law in force is that this Draft distinguishes between representation activities and insurance mediation activities.
As a novelty, it is regulated that insurance agents may, in accordance with the regulations, perform representation activities on behalf and for the account of voluntary pension fund management companies, as well as represent several insurance companies simultaneously in the same types of insurance, with the written consent of the represented companies.
In addition to the above, this Draft, in relation to the Law in force, has been supplemented with provisions related to consumer protection, explained, among other things, by the FBiH Government.
