TUZLA, June 18 (FENA) - The 4th International Festival of Contemporary Woman was officially opened with a series of cultural events at the Ismet Mujezinović Studio and the Croat Cultural Center in Tuzla, with speeches by representatives of the executive power, several ambassadors to BiH and other successful women of modern society.
This unique event connects and supports successful stories of BiH, the region and the world, and at the same time motivates young women.
Some of the topics at this year's Festival of Contemporary Woman are: how to manage your time, how to be creative, what are the powers of social networks, and how to respond to new business challenges caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Director of Radio Kameleon, who is also the organizer of this festival, Zlatko Berbić, told FENA that this year's Festival of Contemporary Woman is unique because it is held at two locations at the same time.
More than 100 speakers from 17 countries are participating in the Festival.
“Three ambassadors and other successful women from all over the world are participating in the festival. They decided to share their knowledge and experience by mentoring women in BiH. We are not a society that deals with women's rights, we have decided to create a community in which one woman helps other women to climb the stairs of success, so that everyone succeeds,” Berbić emphasizes.
Each speaker talks for 20 minutes and it is, he said, a fantastic journey through success, through setbacks and results.
Minister of Trade, Transport and Tourism of the Tuzla Canton, Hamza Bešić, assessed that such events give a new dimension for tourism in the area of the Tuzla Canton.
“We have been gathering at the Festival of Contemporary Woman for four years now, and the Ministry of Trade, Transport and Tourism of the Tuzla Canton, as well as the Government of the Tuzla Canton, have recognized the importance of such event from the beginning, not only for the development of event tourism but in general for gathering women, who have very respectable careers, who can provide a lot of knowledge and experience and be an inspiration and motivation for young women and girls to try to do something in their lives and careers,” said Assistant Minister for Trade, Transport and Tourism of the Tuzla Canton, Dželmina Huremović.
The Festival of Contemporary Woman in Tuzla has so far hosted more than 500 speakers, who shared their experiences and inspired many people, and this year's festival will last until June 20.
