SARAJEVO, June 7 (FENA) - The Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fadil Novalić talked today in Sarajevo with the Mayor of Goražde Ernest Imamović, who thanked for the assistance provided by the FBiH Government to the development of the Bosnia-Podrinje Canton.
The topic of the meeting was projects financed or assisted by the FBiH Government in that town, especially in the field of traffic infrastructure, and the project of connecting Sarajevo and Goražde by motorway and especially the construction of the Hranjen tunnel was discussed.
It is estimated that this project when completed, will be of great importance for both the Goražde region and the Federation of BiH due to better road connections and the development of the economy and tourism.
In addition, for the first phase of the construction of the regional landfill Trešnjica, the FBiH Government set aside 260,000 KM, and another 140,000 KM for the reconstruction of the pressure water supply system from the water factory in Vitkovići to the Rasadnik reservoir.
The FBiH Government is preparing a decision to continue assisting lower levels of government in 2021, the Office of the Government of the Federation of BiH for Public Relations announced.
