SARAJEVO, April 27 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić received newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Bosnia and Herzegovina Sadik Babur Girgin in an inaugural visit and discussed the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republic of Turkey.
Ambassador Girgin expressed the full support of the Republic of Turkey to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and emphasized the diametrically opposed policy of the Republic of Turkey to those countries that create insecurity in Bosnia and Herzegovina and question its survival.
BiH Presidency member Komšić thanked Ambassador Girgin for the interest of the Republic of Turkey in greater economic cooperation between the two countries, investments in BiH, as well as its role in promoting stability and cooperation in the region, the BiH Presidency said.
