SARAJEVO, April 8 (FENA) - The BiH Presidency member Šefik Džaferović congratulated today all Roma citizens in Bosnia and Herzegovina on April 8, International Roma Day.
"Bosnian Roma are a natural part of multiethnic Bosnian society. The Romani people - citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina are guaranteed all their rights, according to the Constitution, as well as all human rights. The obligation of all institutions and society as a whole must be to eliminate discrimination and provide equal opportunities.
Bosnia and Herzegovina as we want it to be is a state in which all its people will have equal rights, regardless of their identity, origin, social or any other status. On the occasion of International Roma Day, I give my full support to the requests of the representatives of the Roma of Bosnia and Herzegovina when it comes to improving the position of this group of our citizens," says Džaferović in his congratulatory message.
