SARAJEVO, March 9 (FENA) - In accordance with the Decision of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, members of the Engineering Battalion of the Tactical Support Brigade of the Armed Forces of BiH (AFBiH) today completed engineering works on construction and rehabilitation of access road and plateau for future container settlement in the Lipa camp near Bihać.
Representatives of the local community of the City of Bihać and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) took over the work done and expressed gratitude for the contribution of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH in creating better living conditions for migrants in the Lipa camp.
This has completed the second phase of engineering works at this location.
The works lasted from February 22 to March 9, and after the handover, the AFBiH unit returned to the location of the barracks in Bihać, stated the Ministry of Defense of BiH.
