SARAJEVO, March 3 (FENA) - The Embassy of the United States of America in BiH, on the occasion of Women's History Month, paid tribute to Fata Orlović for her persistent fight for justice in asserting her property rights.
On its Facebook page, the US Embassy announced that this month is being marked by paying tribute to brave BiH women.
“Women who have faced challenges with dignity and who stand tall as courageous role models, not only for women and girls but also for all people, in all aspects of society. We thank every one of you for what you do every day and for showing everyone what courageous women can achieve,” announced the American Embassy in BiH.
Fata Orlović is fighting a long-term legal battle with the authorities of the Republika Srpska because an Orthodox church was illegally built in the yard of her house in Konjević-Polje near Bratunac during the war.
