SARAJEVO, February 24 (FENA) - President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović received today the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Ji Ping.
The officials discussed the relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and China, the possibilities of improving cooperation, and the current situation with the coronavirus pandemic.
Ambassador Ping stressed that China supports Bosnia and Herzegovina's efforts to fight the coronavirus.
They also discussed the possibility of procuring vaccines from Chinese manufacturers for the needs of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and pointed out that contacts have already been established between Chinese producers and institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also that China will make about 10 million doses of vaccines available through COVAX mechanism.
Izetbegović and Ji PIng talked about the models of economic cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and China, as well as the possibilities of financing projects in the field of health care and education, the SDA said.
