SARAJEVO, February 18 (FENA) - Raisu-l-ulema of the Islamic Community in BiH, Husein effendi Kavazović received today in Sarajevo in a farewell visit the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey Haldun Koç, who thanked Kavazović for the good cooperation with the IC and Raisu-l-ulama, especially when it comes to large projects such as the completion of the administrative building of the Riyasat in Kovači and the reconstruction of numerous religious buildings, including the Aladža Mosque in Foča and the Arnaudi Mosque in Banja Luka.
Ambassador Koç reminded that during his mandate in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he especially worked on deepening the ties between the Bosnian Riyasat and the Turkish Diyanet as closely related institutions and that he was leaving BiH with the best impressions.
Raisu-l-ulama thanked Koç for the good cooperation with the Turkish Embassy, assessing that he represented the Turkish state and the Turkish people in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the best possible way, and that it was an honor and pleasure to cooperate with him.
He expressed hope that Ambassador Koç would remain a friend of BiH even after returning to Turkey and moving to another position, stated the Islamic Community in BiH.
