SARAJEVO, February 9 (FENA) - Japan and Bosnia and Herzegovina are marking the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations, which were established on February 9, 1996.
On the occasion of this anniversary, Ambassador Ito Makoto exchanged letters of congratulations with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Zoran Tegeltija and the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Bisera Turković.
Japanese Prime Minister Suga Yoshihida and Chairman Zoran Tegeltija, as well as Foreign Minister Motegi Toshimitsu and Foreign Minister Bisera Turkoviće also exchanged the letter of congratulations, stated the Japanese Embassy in BiH.
In their letters, both sides congratulated the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and reaffirmed their intention to further strengthen bilateral relations, and reaffirmed their readiness to cooperate in the fight against coronavirus pandemic, reads the statement.
