SARAJEVO, January 21 (FENA) - Foreign trade exports of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2020 amounted to 10 billion and 515 million KM, which is 8.5 percent less than in 2019.
In 2020, imports amounted to 16 billion and 886 million KM, which is 13.4 percent less than in 2019.
According to the data of the BiH Agency for Statistics, the imports-exports ratio in the period January-December 2020 amounted to 62.3 percent, while the foreign trade deficit amounted to 6 billion and 371 million KM.
Exports from BiH to CEFTA countries amounted to 1 billion and 684 million KM, which is 11.5 percent less than in 2019, while imports amounted to 2 billion and 145 million KM, which is 11.3 percent less than in 2019. The imports-exports ratio was 78.5 percent.
Exports from BiH to the countries of the European Union in 2020 amounted to 7 billion and 618 million KM, which is 8.3 percent less than in 2019, while imports amounted to 10 billion and 265 million KM, which is 13, 9 percent less than in 2019. The imports-exports ratio was 74.2 percent.
