Gudeljević and Ambassador Toudic: Cooperation in many areas

SARAJEVO, January 20 (FENA) - Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ankica Gudeljević received today in Sarajevo the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of France to BiH Christine Toudic, and informed her about the ministry's numerous competencies, emphasizing its role in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the talks, the interlocutors expressed mutual interest in signing an agreement on cooperation in a number of areas, especially in the field of social security between the two countries.

Minister Gudeljević reminded that the ratification of the signed agreement on cooperation in the field of cinematography between the two countries is expected and called for its implementation after ratification.

French Ambassador Christine Toudic reminded that the French Cinema Center is funding the shooting of non-commercial films, especially films that will be directed by women.

She advocated launching initiatives for cooperation in all areas where the BiH Ministry of Civil Affairs has competencies. Gudeljević and Toudic also talked about young people, the role of the Ministry in RYCO, to which Ambassador Toudic gave exceptional support.

The interlocutors concluded that this area could be one of the priorities in the relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of France, the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH announced.
