SARAJEVO, January 20 (FENA) - The SDA caucus of MPs calls on the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to act as soon as possible on the request of 24 members of the BiH Parliament and adopt a temporary injunction that would prevent activities of the RS entity authorities on the construction of three hydropower plants on the Drina River.
Acting at the request of a group of 24 members of the BiH Parliament, the BiH Constitutional Court should prevent unforeseeable harmful consequences, but also stop violating its own decisions which stipulate that only the state of BiH has access to the Drina River water resources until the adoption of the law on the status of state property.
Despite clear and binding decisions of the BiH Constitutional Court, the RS entity authorities, although unconstitutionally, have continued to dispose of state property and potentials of the Drina River, thus consciously disregarding and disrespecting BiH's sovereignty and the constitutional order of our country, stated the SDA caucus.
