ZENICA, January 14 (FENA) - Turkish citizen Caner (Fuat) Taylan, who is suspected of killing Ramiz Odobašić and Arslan Mujić in Nikola Tesla Street in Nova Zenica yesterday morning, has been arrested in the Busovača municipality, Aldina Alić, spokeswoman of the Police Office of the Ministry of the Interior of the Zenica-Doboj Canton confirmed for FENA.
“I can confirm that members of the Police Administration of the Central Bosnia Canton, in the area of the municipality of Busovača, arrested the person we were looking for.
We expect that the arrested will soon be handed over to the ZDC Ministry of Interior,” spokeswoman Alić announced. She could not confirm whether the arrested Taylan, whose van was found last night at the Grablje site near Busovača, possibly had helpers in hiding.
The murdered Odobašić and Mujić allegedly sold foreign currency, so it is suspected that the sale of foreign currency was the reason for their meeting with Taylan.
Last night, with the permission of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Prosecutor's Office, the police published a picture of the suspect Taylan, who resides in Zenica.
