SARAJEVO, January 11 (FENA) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija (SNSD) thanked today the MPs in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH who gave their support to the CoM, whose dismissal was demanded by the opposition.
In a statement to reporters in Sarajevo, Tegeltija said that the Council of Ministers should have present its activities and work to the public more and that this year, it will continue the fight against the pandemic and its consequences on the economy.
He pointed out that BiH has had a number of additional requirements in the process of the EU integration compared to some other countries, which those requirements only when they became full members.
"The EU should have been more tolerant towards BiH in the process of obtaining a candidate status," Tegeltija said.
He emphasized that he was proud that all BiH citizens had access to health care in our health care institutions, "and not in military barracks and sports halls, as it was the case in many countries."
"I am also proud of the fact that there was enough medical equipment, and of the shown dedication of all medical workers," stated Tegeltija.
He underlined that the first vaccines in BiH will arrive by the end of January and that health workers will be the first to receive them.
"All the vaccines that will be approved in the world will be available in BiH, and for the most sensitive categories of the population, they will be administered free of charge," Tegeltija added.
He explained that BiH has no control over the money that international organizations spend on taking care of migrants.
"After all the information that was spread in public, I think it will be necessary for those who spent that money to submit a report on its spending," concluded the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Zoran Tegeltija.
