SARAJEVO, November 30 (FENA) - The total number of tourist arrivals in the Federation of BiH in October 2020 was 24,778, which is 80.7 percent less than in October 2019, and compared to September this year it was lower by 24.2 percent. The share of domestic tourists was 58.7 percent, and foreign tourists 41.3 percent.
The total number of nights the tourists spent in FBiH in October 2020 was 51,101, which is 78.3 percent less than in October 2019, and compared to September 2020, it is 36.7 percent less. The share of domestic tourists in the total number of overnight stays was 53.7 percent, and foreign tourists 46.3 percent.
In the structure of overnight stays of foreign tourists, most overnight stays were realized by tourists from the United Arab Emirates (24.8 percent), Croatia (17 percent), Serbia (16 percent), Kuwait (5.9 percent), and Turkey (4.5 percent), which is a total of 68.2 percent. Tourists from other countries realized 31.8 percent of overnight stays.
The net bed occupancy rate for hotels and similar accommodation in the Federation of BiH was 8.8 percent.
