SARAJEVO, November 22 (FENA) – The East West Bridge in BiH organized in Jajce on Friday a seminar for selected students from six universities from all over BiH to discuss the situation in BiH 25 years after the Dayton Agreement and the impact of this agreement on young people.
The seminar entitled "Using the Power of Cooperation" is one in a series held on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Agreement. Earlier workshops were held in Bijeljina, Banja Luka, Sarajevo, Brčko, Tuzla and Mostar.
On behalf of the partner of this project, the US Embassy in Sarajevo, Ambassador Eric Nelson addressed the seminar participants, congratulating them on the organization of this important event and expressing support for this project.
He emphasized that this is especially important for young students from all over BiH, who will have the opportunity to discuss and reflect together on the proposals and reforms of the Dayton Constitution and other concrete measures needed to improve the situation in the country.
With the help of lecturers, EWB experts and professors, students gained new knowledge in order to finally independently through a broader dialogue by consensus bring their conclusions in the form of a Declaration on the Future of BiH.
Following this three-day advanced seminar, the declaration is expected to be released on Sunday, November 22, the East West Bridge announced.
