SARAJEVO, November 9 (FENA) – The Alija Izetbegović Foundation congratulated the US President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on their election victory.
"Your victory has brought us relief, joy and encouragement which we share with the good people of the United States of America, and with all the people of the world to whom the virtues of truth and justice, of freedom and democracy are of vital importance. Our Foundation was established with the aim of contributing to the progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina and a more dignified, happier life of its citizens and peoples. It arose from the belief that our country can and should have a better future as a place of multi-centennial encounter, togetherness and coexistence of different communities. For we believed and still believe that those are the values upon which the world of the future should be built, upon which the future of peoples and human communities can be built. Your victory, dear President-elect and Vice President-elect, brings hope and vitality to the endeavors of individuals who are striving for a better present and future of the world," it is stated in the congratulatory message of the Alija Izetbegović Foundation.
