SARAJEVO, October 30 (FENA) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović sent a letter of condolence to the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan after a devastating earthquake hit the area of the City of Izmir today.
"Dear President Erdogan, I received the news of the terrifying earthquake that hit the area of the city of Izmir with deep sadness and concern. The citizens of Izmir and the entire brotherly Turkish people are in our thoughts and prayers.
I extend my sincere condolences to the families of the victims with wishes for a speedy recovery of the injured and we praise and support the efforts of brave members of the rescue services who saved the lives of many people," wrote Džaferović in his letter, announced the BiH Presidency.
