BiH Ombudsman: We have to preserve job security and the dignity of workers

SARAJEVO, October 7 (FENA) - The Ombudspersons of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a press release today on the occasion of the World Day for Decent Work, emphasizing the importance of preserving job security.

"On the occasion of marking the World Day of Decent Work on October 7, the Ombudspersons of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ljubinko Mitrović, Jasminka Džumhur and Nives Jukić emphasized the constant struggle for job security, the right to regular salaries, health insurance, social and pension-disability protection, non-working Sundays, etc.," said the Institution of the Human Rights Ombudsman of BiH.

In the conditions of a pandemic, when there is less and less work and workers, the ombudspersons appeal to all levels of government and to employers to think about the dignity of workers, their human rights and their livelihoods.
