SARAJEVO, October 5 (FENA) - Deputies of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina today again showed the irresponsible attitude of this institution over the spending of public funds, legality and efficiency of the FBiH institutions, stated the Centers for Civic Initiatives (CCI).
Although after more than two years, the hearing and considering the report on the financial audit of FBiH institutions was finally on the agenda, at today's session of the Parliamentary Audit Committee of the FBiH Parliament, out of all 14 members, only two members and the chairman of the committee appeared.
“With their absence, parliamentarians continue to make the work of the Audit Office meaningless and favor the expansion of the space for unpunished violations of the law and corruption within government institutions or those they should control, although today's session was a unique opportunity to investigate and consider the observed irregularities and to determine the ways of correcting these irregularities within the audit institutions.
