SARAJEVO, September 9 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Staša Košarac held a meeting with representatives of leading dairy companies in BiH to discuss ongoing topics related to this sector.
Košarac said that he was pleased with the fact that there is good communication between primary producers and milk processing companies.
“I am glad that they are discussing the price of milk together, and that they will not stop buying milk produced domestically,” said Košarac.
He pointed out that the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations will get involved in the process of helping the dairy producers place their products in the foreign markets.
Košarac also pointed out that the representation of domestic products in retail chains in BiH is not at a satisfactory level and that he would ask the Food Safety Agency to draft specific regulations that would address this matter.
