SARAJEVO, September 8 (FENA) - The Republic of Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina will continue to strengthen cooperation in all areas of common interest, it was emphasized at today's meeting between BiH Security Minister Selmo Cikotić and Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to BiH Haldun Koç.
The interlocutors concluded that there are many common challenges in the field of security, such as the fight against terrorism, organized crime and illegal migration, and that there is a constant need to further improve relations and coordinated response to these security threats.
Ambassador Koç expressed Turkey’s readiness to continue supporting the security sector in BiH by organizing specialist training for members of the police and other agencies in BiH.
During the meeting, Ambassador Koç reiterated Turkey's commitment to continue cooperation in other areas, such as economic and cultural cooperation, and stressed that there is continued support for BiH on its Euro-Atlantic path, the BiH Ministry of Security stated.
