SARAJEVO, July 14 (FENA) - Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sifet Podžić received today in an official visit the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Bosnia and Herzegovina Haldun Koc, as well as the new Turkish military envoy, Brigadier Mustafa Sitki Tatar.
Minister Podžić thanked Ambassador Koc for Turkey's significant engagement in various assistance projects to the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AF BiH).
The participation of BiH cadets in military academies in Turkey was especially emphasized, and the possibilities of training of BiH medical staff in order to develop the medical service in the AF BiH were also discussed.
Ambassador Koc emphasized that the Republic of Turkey would continue to provide strong support to BiH on its path to the European Union and NATO.
The newly appointed military envoy, Brigadier Tatar, pointed out that he would be at the permanent disposal of all future cooperation projects between BiH and Turkey, stated the Public Relations Office of the Ministry of Defense.
