UNDP commends management and transparency of HNC Government

MOSTAR, June 25 (FENA) - Prime Minister of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNC), Nevenko Herceg, held a working meeting with the UNDP Resident Representative in BiH, Steliana Nedera.

Emphasizing the good cooperation between the HNC Government and UNDP so far, Herceg informed Nedera about the current situation in HNC, emphasizing the Government's activities aimed at preventing the negative economic consequences caused by the coronavirus epidemic and supporting the economy in HNC.

The UNDP Resident Representative in BiH commended the communication with the HNC Government, thanking Herceg for the warm welcome and constant readiness for productive cooperation, for the benefit of the community.

She especially commended the crisis management, communication and transparency of the HNC Government during the coronavirus pandemic, the HNC Government announced.

HNC Government and UNDP have had successful cooperation in a number of joint projects, both during the current epidemic and in energy efficiency projects, thanks to which a number of public buildings with emphasis on schools and health centers were renovated, as well as projects for the development of a cantonal development strategy for the previous, but also for the upcoming period, from 2021 to 2027.
