Dodik receives UN Resident Coordinator Macdonald in an inaugural visit

SARAJEVO, June 11 (FENA) - BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik received UN Resident Coordinator in BiH Ingrid MacDonald in an inaugural visit.

Dodik conveyed to the UN Resident Coordinator MacDonald the positive experience he has with all UN organizations with which he has cooperated so far and emphasized that the Presidency of BiH will be a good partner and collaborator for the UN. He especially emphasized the commitment and help of the UNDP in solving the problems caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, at a time when almost everything was stopped.

UN Resident Coordinator in BiH Ingrid MacDonald said she was impressed by the effective measures implemented in BiH to fight the COVID-19 epidemic, which resulted in low infections and deaths.

BiH Presidency member Dodik and the UN Resident Coordinator in BiH also discussed the Framework Cooperation Agreement with the UN so that it could be reached soon, as well as the Socio-Economic Agreement and the Dialogue for the Future, on which the BiH Presidency was engaged.
