SARAJEVO, May 24 (FENA) - Raisu-l-ulama of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein ef. Kavazović delivered a message on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
Rais Kavazović said that in many ways this was a special month of fasting. Just because we were deprived of some of our common rites and customs does not mean that it was less valuable. The door to forgiveness and good deeds was still wide open. Blessed are those who have earned God's forgiveness and His mercy.
Our prayers are with those who are sick, who have lost their loved ones, or are otherwise affected by the pandemic that has befallen the world.
Nevertheless, we hope that Eid days will bring joy into our everyday life and that it will be the beginning of the recovery of our country and the world.
That is why I invite you to share the joy of Eid with your neighbors, family and friends.
I would like to congratulate Eid to all Muslims in Sandžak and Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and diaspora and all Muslim men and women in the world.
