Mandić: So far, 55 patients recovered from Covid-19 in FBiH

SARAJEVO, April 14 (FENA) - The FBiH Health Minister Vjekoslav Mandić said in Sarajevo today that a total of 447 samples were tested in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina over the past 24 hours, of which 24 tested positive for Covid-19.

According to him, a total of 6,621 samples have been tested in the Federation of BiH so far, and a total of 612 persons have been confirmed to be positive for Covid-19. Of these, 330 were women and 282 were men.

Minister Mandić says that 70 patients positive for the Covid-19 virus are hospitalized in the Federation of BiH at the moment. 

"As of today, we have 55 patients recovered from the disease in the Federation of BiH, and in the coming days we expect the number of recovered patients to increase," said Mandić.

Mandić added that out of 24 confirmed fatalities in the FBiH, 13 were men and 11 were women. In terms of their age, 16 deceased patients, or 67 percent of them were over 65 years of age.
