SARAJEVO, April 10 (FENA) - The Party of Democratic Action (SDA) gives its full support to the Federation of BiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić and his activities in reaching an arrangement with the International Monetary Fund.
"No blackmail and deception regarding the distribution of funds that we are witnessing these days can and will not pass. Attempting to include the cantons in the arrangement with the IMF is also unacceptable, as advocated by the HDZ BiH and their minister in the BiH Council of Ministers, Vjekoslav Bevanda," says the SDA.
The party recalls that Prime Minister Novalić, as a member of the Fiscal Council, has already signed a Letter of Intent allowing the withdrawal of the IMF funds and that representatives from the state level and from the entity of RS have done the same.
"r Bosnia and Herzegovina, all its peoples and citizens need this money from the IMF. That is why we urge the members of the Fiscal Council from the HDZ to stop politicking, to sign their Arrangement and to enable the BiH economy to get much-needed funding.
Also, the HDZ and Bevanda should know that under the Constitution there is no such thing as "technical mandate" for the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH. The fact that the FBiH Government continued to serve in the same convocation from the last term is a consequence of the HDZ's refusal to complete the formation of the Government in the FBiH following the results of the last elections. If that had happened, Novalić would have again be named the Prime Minister, as he is right now," stated the SDA.
