SARAJEVO, April 7 (FENA) – BiH Minister of Security, Fahrudin Radončić, spoke today with Head of the EU Delegation to BiH and EU Special Representative, Johann Sattler.
The officials discussed the measures taken to combat the spread of coronavirus and the most urgent needs of BiH institutions at the moment, especially the health sector.
Special emphasis was put on the eventual establishment of a high-level impact group for the socio-economic response to the COVID-19 crisis. There is an indisputable need to improve coordination and ensure consistent access to urgent economic measures across the country in order to respond to the crisis, but also to secure valuable foreign assistance.
They also discussed the migrant situation in BiH and relocation of migrants, as well as the protection that they receive from possible infection with the COVID-19 virus, the BiH Ministry of Security announced.
