SARAJEVO, March 29 (FENA) - A decision by an assembly majority in the entity of RS to reject all four conclusions of “Together for BiH” parliamentary group in the RSNA creates justified doubts about the RS intentions to introduce a state of emergency, the Party for Democratic Action (SDA) stated.
The SDA considers that, in accordance with the Constitution, it is necessary to speed up decision-making procedures related to the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic, and states that deputies from this party are not in principle opposed to the state of emergency.
However, it is disturbing that the majority in the RS National Assembly rejected the conclusions that we demanded that the RSNA decisively oblige the Government not to use the state of emergency to restrict freedom of movement across the inter-entity boundary line, primarily when it comes to providing humanitarian aid to returnee settlements. Given earlier announcements of possible establishment of RS Ministry of Interior checkpoints on the inter-entity boundary line, as well as scandalous announcements by Health Minister Alen Šeranić that he would deport 'FBiH citizens', rejecting the above conclusions is a very dangerous message from the RS entity authorities, it is said in a statement.
Therefore, as the SDA states, their delegates to the Bosniak caucus of the RS Council od Peoples will vote against the decision on the state of emergency.
