SDA against EU special envoy that would link BiH to Serbia-Kosovo dispute

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, February 24 (FENA) - The Party Democratic Action (SDA) opposes the appointment of a European Union special envoy for Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is particularly against the fact that through this position, our country is in any way connected to the resolution of the dispute between Serbia and Kosovo, the SDA said.

The SDA points out that Bosnia and Herzegovina has its own separate European path and does not depend on resolving of the relations in the region with which BiH has no direct connection.

“The BiH institutions are successfully cooperating with the EU institutions and the EU Delegation in Sarajevo.

That cooperation is a sufficient framework which, in addition to accelerating reforms and meeting the requirements from the European Commission's Opinion, enables Bosnia and Herzegovina to accelerate its European path,” stated the SDA in a press release.
