BANJA LUKA, January 29 (FENA) - Mihnet Okić has been elected today as the new Vice President of the RS Council of Peoples from the ranks of the Bosniak people.
The position has been vacated after Dževad Mahmutović was appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of Human Rights and Refugees.
Okić was elected on the proposal of the Bosniak caucus, over which he presided.
Alija Tabaković will be the president of the Bosniak caucus in the coming period.
Following the decision of the BiH Central Election Commission, the mandate of a deputy in the RS Council of Peoples, instead of Mahmutović, has been assigned to the next candidate on the list, Samir Baćevac, who, after verification, took the oath of office today t the RS Council of Peoples’ session.
