SARAJEVO, December 24 (FENA) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić extended congratulations to the Archbishop of Vrhbosna, Cardinal Vinko Puljić and all the Catholics in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Diaspora on the occasion of Christmas Eve and Christmas holidays.
"Your Excellency, I extend my greetings to you and to all Catholics in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Diaspora on Christmas Eve, on behalf of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and myself.
This great holiday symbolizes new life and also teaches us to respect one another. It teaches us to be dignified, to care for one another, to always help those in need and in a state of destitution.
The customs we have inherited from our ancestors for centuries have carried the same message, which is to respect our differences, to strengthen philanthropy, friendship, solidarity and love for our fellow human beings.
I convey my congratulations to all of you on Christmas Eve and Christmas holidays, and wish that you spend them with your family, friends and neighbors in good health," stated Komšić in his greetings.
