SARAJEVO, November 28 (FENA) - Italian President Sergio Mattarella received today the BiH Presidency member Šefik Džaferović in Rome.
President of Italy and a member of the BiH Presidency discussed relations between the two countries, which they confirmed to be very good, especially in the fields of economy and trade, with the prospect of further strengthening and improvement.
Mattarella welcomed the agreement reached in the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and gave full support to the European perspective to all Western Balkan countries.
Džaferović thanked Mattarella for the support Italy has been provided to Bosnia and Herzegovina on its EU and NATO paths, as well as the overall progress of our country, and invited him to pay an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Following his reception with Mattarella, Dzžferović also attended the closing ceremony of the high-level meeting "Freedom from Violence: Peace, Security and Conflict Prevention in the UN Sustainable Development Agenda", hosted by the Italian President, the BiH Presidency said.
