SARAJEVO, November 6 (FENA) - President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović received today Ambassador of the State of Palestine to BiH Rezeq N. M. Namoora.
The two officials discussed relations between the two countries, the political situation in Palestine ahead of the forthcoming general elections called by President Mahmoud Abbas, and the overall situation in the Middle East.
The topic of discussion was also the political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the context of the formation of the government and the continuation of integration and reform processes.
Izetbegović expressed hope that holding the elections, as well as continuing international diplomatic activities, would contribute to improving the situation of the Palestinian people who have the right to live in freedom and security, which has been denied to them as a result of the decades-long occupation, stated the SDA Public Relations Office.
