SARAJEVO, October 16 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency Šefik Džaferović received in an inaugural visit the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, based in Zagreb, Kim Dong-chan.
Džaferović welcomed Ambassador Kim Dong-chan, noting that the two countries have open and friendly relations, which makes a good basis for the significant development of cooperation.
The interlocutors agreed on the need to accelerate the conclusion of the Economic Cooperation Agreement, which would encourage greater trade exchange and Korean investments in the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Ambassador Dong-chan stressed that the signing of the agreement will create preconditions for the establishment of a Mixed Business Council in order to develop stronger economic ties between the two countries.
Džaferović expressed gratitude to the Republic of Korea for the realization of economic development cooperation, which greatly helped with the modernization of hospitals in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The two officials paid special attention to the expansion of cooperation and relations in the field of tourism, stated the BiH Presidency.
