FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, October 8 (FENA) - Bosnia and Herzegovina Minister of Defense Marina Pendeš received today in an inaugural visit the Head of the OSCE Mission to BiH, Ambassador Kathleen Kavalec.

The two officials expressed mutual satisfaction with the cooperation of the BiH Ministry of Defense and the OSCE Mission to BiH.

They emphasized drafting of the Guidelines for a Cyber Strategic Security Framework in BiH as a good example of strengthening cooperation. It was drafted by representatives of the BiH Ministry of Defense and the official presentation will be held on Thursday, October 10.

Pendeš emphasized the smooth flow of implementing joint projects to improve conditions of weapons and ammunition storage, and expressed her wish to continue with such projects in the future.

Kavalec was particularly interested in Minister’s view on the current political situation and blockage in implementation of election results.

Pendeš stressed her belief that open dialogue, but also compliance with legal solutions, could lead to a consensus on all major political issues in BiH, the BiH Ministry of Defense stated.
