SARAJEVO, September 9 (FENA) - Over the past weekend, on September 7 and 8, police officers from the Police Administration of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior successfully planned and implemented the securing of public gatherings organized by the citizens' association "Svjetlo" and the citizens' initiative "Iskorak".
Also, the Police Administration, in cooperation and assistance of other police and security agencies (BiH Intelligence and Security Agency, Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, FBiH Police Directorate and cantonal ministries of interior: Tuzla, Zenica-Doboj, Central Bosnia, Herzegovina-Neretva and Podrinje Canton), successfully planned and implemented the securing of a public gathering under the slogan "Ima izać'", which was the first-ever held Pride March of the LGBTIQ community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which attracted a lot of public interest and was one of the most demanding and high-risk public gatherings from a security point of view, stated the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton.
The SC Ministry of Interior takes this opportunity to thank the citizens of Sarajevo and all the visitors of the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Sarajevo Canton for their understanding and support in the implementation of activities by the Police Administration, with the assistance and cooperation with partner police and security agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
