BANJA LUKA, September 5 (FENA) - The total debt of Republika Srpska (RS) at the end of last year amounted to five billion and 178.5 million KM, states the data from the entity government.
The foreign debt of the BiH entity was 3 billion and 363.13 million KM, of which two billion and 118.10 million KM belongs to the RS, while the self-government units took out loans in the amount of 115.44 million KM, and publicly traded companies and the Investment and Development Banks (RBI) of RS are one billion and 129.59 million KM.
The internal debt of RS is one billion and 815.37 million KM, of which 298.25 million KM is indebtedness of municipalities and cities, while 178.87 million KM belongs to the social security funds, according to information on RS debt in the last year, which will be debated at the next session of the RS National Assembly.
RS has the largest liabilities to the World Bank (WB IDA, WB IBRD) in the amount of 1,037.33 million KM, the European Investment Bank (EIB) in the amount of 1,007.63 million KM, and Eurobonds in the amount of 328.58 million KM.
