PALE, August 28 (FENA) - Republika Srpska does not need any kind of hastened actions, and whatever we do, we will do it in order to strengthen the original Dayton Peace Agreement, said today the BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik.
Dodik added that the actions of this BiH entity will not go outside the scope of the BiH Constitution and that they will seek to affirm the constitutional structure of BiH.
Commenting on a statement by the BiH Presidency Chairman Željko Komšić that everyone who tried to abolish BiH and strip it of its sovereignty ended up in The Hague or underground, he asked: “where does it say in the Constitution that the army and the judiciary are the competences of the state?”
He also claims that he "understood Komšić’s statement very well".
“If the agreement of the leaders is not implemented by September 5, we will go to the RS National Assembly and suggest how this issue could be resolved,” said Dodik.
He announced that the RS Parliament would propose to hold talks with the FBiH Parliament.
"We will propose the withdrawal of agreements on the military, the court and the prosecutor’s office, indirect taxes and all that has been imposed by the high representatives, and no one should doubt this," Dodik said, adding that he would proceed “slowly, precisely, using all democratic means.”
