MOSTAR, August 18 (FENA) - Management and Supervisory Board of company Aluminij d. d. Mostar, stated in an open letter to the Speaker of Croatian National Assembly and Croat Democratic Union of BiH, Dragan Čović, that following the actions taken by all interested parties, "the contours of a new Aluminij are being seen on new, economically viable grounds".
In the letter, the management and Supervisory Board expressed their appreciation to Čović for "unequivocally standing behind all Aluminij employees with a very clear position, first to protect employees' rights, to give support to the relevant institutions in order to determine responsibility for irregularities irrespective of perpetrators and to find investors for a new start of production".
"We hope that the Aluminij Employees Union is of the same opinion as well and that we, as active participants in this process of revitalizing Aluminij's business processes, will reach our goal, which is to protect all employees and find a strategic partner for further development. We are obliged to make decisions within our jurisdiction independently or to propose them to the owners, but we also believe that in the future, whenever necessary, you will be ready to respond as a partner, with your experience, knowledge and political position to help Aluminij and its employees. Wishing that we all succeed together in our intentions, accept the assurance of our highest consideration, " it is stated in the letter.
