SDA: Grabar-Kitarović’s statements expression of Islamophobic policy towards BiH

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, July 31 (FENA) - The Party of Democratic Action (SDA) says arbitrary and malicious allegations made by Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović are an expression of her increasingly Islamophobic policies against BiH and the Bosniak people, which, as the party points out, are based on the idea of ethnic and religious supremacy thus having elements of fascism.

The SDA stresses that no serious and relevant stakeholder in the international public arena will ever believe these lies, but also that everyone in Europe and the world knows very well that the president of Croatia is the frontrunner of the politics that has led to the open glorification of convicted war criminals in Croatia and where neo-Nazi groups are gaining increasing influence in political processes.

“It is a paradox to see that the President of Croatia makes statements with elements of fascism in Israel, nonetheless, while in Croatia she tolerates the growth of militant Ustasha and neo-Nazi movements, which celebrate the fascist WWII creation, the Independent State of Croatia (NDH) and the war criminals who participated in the Holocaust,” stated the SDA.

The party stresses that the accusations of the President of Croatia against Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Bosniak people will never be credible, since they have no basis, while the truth about the Joint Criminal Enterprise (JCE) orchestrated, planned and conducted by Prlić and Boban, all the way to Šušak and Franjo Tuđman has been proven and established before the UN tribunal in The Hague.

“It is precisely these kinds of aggressive statements from Zagreb that indicate the need to spread and convey this truth even more forcefully around the world, because creating an atmosphere in Croatia where war criminals are the model of behavior represents the greatest threat to peace and stability in this part of Europe,” it is said in the statement of the Party of Democratic Action.
