For half a year, RS half a billion KM in debt in commodity exchange

BANJA LUKA, July 23 (FENA) - The Republika Srpska (RS) foreign trade deficit in January-June this year amounted to 543 million KM, shows the data of the entity Statistical Office.

Exports amounted to 1 billion and 807 million KM, which is one percent less than in the same period last year.

Imports amounted to two billion and 350 million KM, which is 6.9 percent less than the same period last year. The export coverage ratio for January - June of the current year was 76.9 percent.

In the first half of the year, this BiH entity exported to Italy 291 million KM, or 16.1 percent, to Serbia 228 million KM or 12.6 percent of the total export realized.

In the same period, RS imported most from Serbia, in the amount of 428 million KM, or 18.2 percent, and 335 million KM from Italy, or 14.3 percent of the total realized imports.
