SARAJEVO, June 26 (FENA) - The House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina took note today the information from the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the control and management of the influx of massive numbers of migrants and refugees in BiH, with reference to the current security and humanitarian situation in the Una -Sana Canton.
Most of the conclusions suggested by the deputies during the debate on this item on the agenda did not get the necessary entity majority from Republika Srpska and will be referred to the Collegium for harmonization.
The PA BiH House of Representatives did not take notice of the Annual Report of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) for 2018, which was discussed with regard to the current situation in judicial institutions of BiH. Emphasis was put on obligations from the recommendations of the European Commission.
No deputy was "in favor" of the report, 22 were opposed and six deputies abstained.
Several conclusions were adopted during the discussion on this topic by the deputies, among which the conclusion is to request the resignation of the entire HJPC and that amendments to the Law on HJPC should be submitted in an urgent procedure to the Parliamentary Assembly.
Among other things, a decision was adopted to propose the establishment of a provisional investigative commission of this House that will investigate the current situation in judicial institutions of BiH.
